A Little About Me
Hello my love! I am Sadie Sade Meeks. I am an HBCU Grad (Aggie Pride)! I studied Fashion Merchandising and Design, and will always remain an eager student of this field. I love to design textiles and put together styling mood boards. I’ve adored fashion from childhood thanks to platforms like Stardoll.com. I honor my inner child as an adult by playing dress up whenever I can. The fashion realm is an industry that I couldn’t fathom retiring from and my hopes for this blog is to share my passion and to make new connections.
“TRAPATES” was birthed in 2021, inspired by a conversation I was having with my sister in Christ. It’s plainly the words “set apart” spelled backwards. “Set apart” describes my target audience in every way. I believe uniqueness is a super power. I want to embolden the onlooker to walk in their light in this world of darkness and dare to be “TRAPATES” every day.
